What are the corrosion inhibitors for sulfuric acid pickling

Sulfuric acid pickling corrosion inhibitor is a chemical solution used for cleaning and removing oxides on metal surfaces. It is mainly composed of sulfuric acid (H2SO4) and other auxiliary formula components. The following are some common sulfuric acid pickling corrosion inhibitor formula components:

Sulfuric acid (H2SO4): Sulfuric acid is the main component of acid pickling corrosion inhibitors, with h3 acidity, which can remove oxide layers, rust, and dirt on metal surfaces.

Corrosion inhibitor: Sulfuric acid pickling corrosion inhibitors usually add some corrosion inhibitors to reduce corrosion of metals. Common corrosion inhibitors include nitrates, phosphates, citric acid, etc.

Surfactants: In order to improve the wettability and cleaning effect of acid pickling corrosion inhibitors on metal surfaces, some surfactants can be added. Common surfactants include sodium dodecylbenzene sulfonate (SDBS), sodium dodecyl sulfate, etc.

Diluent: High concentration of sulfuric acid may cause excessive corrosion of metals, so a certain amount of diluent, such as water or other solvents, is usually added when preparing sulfuric acid pickling corrosion inhibitors.

It should be noted that the formulation and use of acid pickling corrosion inhibitors should be tailored to the specific situation, ensuring that they are used in the correct proportions and methods, and following relevant safety operating procedures. During the pickling process, protective measures should be taken to avoid harm to personal safety and the environment.
