Sodium polyacrylate thickener formula

The following is a common thickening agent formula for Polyacrylic Acid Sodium (PPA):

Material:

Sodium polyacrylate (PPA): 20g

Purified water: 80 grams

Step:

Add 80 grams of pure water to a container.

Slowly add 20 grams of sodium polyacrylate (PPA) to purified water while stirring and mixing.

Continue stirring and mixing until the sodium polyacrylate (PPA) is completely dissolved and reaches the desired concentration.

Wait for the mixture to cool down to achieve the final thickening effect.

Further adjustments to concentration or viscosity can be made as needed.
