Deoxidizers usually refer to chemical substances used to remove oxygen from water, such as sodium sulfite, ammonium sulfite, etc. In general, deoxidizers cannot be reused after use.
The main function of deoxidizers is to reduce oxygen in water and form corresponding oxidation products. Once the deoxidizer reacts with oxygen, the generated oxidation products will cause the deoxidizer to lose its function of removing oxygen and therefore cannot be used again.
In addition, deoxidizers usually undergo chemical reactions with other components in the water during use, forming different products that may have adverse effects on water quality. Repeated use of previously used deoxidizers may lead to water pollution or quality degradation.
Therefore, in order to ensure the effectiveness and water quality safety of deoxidizers, it is generally recommended to use deoxidizers according to the methods and doses specified in the instructions for use, rather than repeatedly using previously used deoxidizers. If deoxygenation treatment needs to be continued, fresh deoxidizers should be used.
