Main components of water purification flocculant

Water purification flocculant is a chemical agent used to remove suspended solids and turbid substances in water. They can aggregate solid particles in water into larger particles or agglomerates through mechanisms such as adsorption, flocculation, and precipitation, facilitating filtration and separation. The main components of water purification flocculants include the following categories:

Inorganic complexes: such as iron salts, aluminum salts, calcium salts, etc. They can react with dissolved substances in water to form colloids and precipitates, thereby achieving the goal of purifying water quality.

Silicates: such as sodium silicate, sodium aluminum silicate, etc. These compounds can stabilize colloids and promote the precipitation and separation of suspended solids.
